Our Climb-Fit sessions incorporate climbing challenges with off-wall circuit style exercises for a unique, high intensity, fat-torching workout. Increase your strength, balance and coordination with functional training. This is a fantastically effective full body workout, and a fun way to get fit in a climbing arena like no other!
Work all major muscles while improving your flexibility, agility and concentration! Sessions include harness fitting, safety briefing with warm-up and your training session inside the climbing arena with our Wildlands personal trainers. All abilities are welcome, from beginners to advanced level. Climb Fit classes will run on Wednesdays and Fridays, kicking off on January 19th.
Rock climbing is one of the world’s fastest growing mainstream sporting activities and is now an Olympic sport. Like many sports, climbing gives you an endorphin rush while strengthening your muscles and clearing your mind.
Our instructor, Dara McDonagh is a friendly and experienced personal trainer with a background in strength and conditioning coaching and outdoor instructing. Dara studied strength and conditioning at Setanta Sports college (LIT) before becoming a personal trainer and gym coach. He has worked at various gyms around Ireland coaching both sports teams and individuals.
