Marketing Manager (Full Time)
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join Wildlands. This highly motivated individual will run the marketing function for Wildlands.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting Wildlands across all marketing channels, maximising sales potential and achieving revenue budgets across the entire offering.

The General Manager

Responsibilities:
•Lead and provide strategic direction in the promotion of the Wildlands brand across all online and offline marketing and sales channels.•Launch and promote the accommodation offering across all Channels.Lead and provide strategic direction and support for all aspects of marketing across all Channels and all customer segments including groups, leisure, families, schools, youth groups, university students and events.•Provide strategic direction and guidance to management to ensure optimal marketing effectiveness across the Channels.•Develop, implement, manage and monitor:sales and marketing plans; and sales budgets.•Maximise sales across entire offering on the Channels.•Set and achieve revenue targets and ensure each area of the business is achieving revenue targets.•Attend and report at management and revenue team meetings.•Work closely with and take on board marketing requirements of the General Manager, Sales Managers and the Head of Adventure.•Drive national and international awareness of Wildlands on the Channels.•Create and foster relationships with national and international sales generating networks, including schools, businesses and tour operators.•Create and foster relationships with key political and community figures, industry experts and organizations, including Failte Ireland and the Adventure Travel Trade Association ATTA.•Create and foster relationships with local accommodation and leisure providers in Galway city and its surrounds, enabling them to market activity packages / add-ons to their existing offerings.•Liaise, meet with and follow up with businesses to develop the corporate market for team building day trips.•Attend and represent Wildlands at local and national events, exhibitions and trade shows to build profile and brand awareness.•Drive an effective digital strategy including an effective search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy and pay per click (PPC) ad management strategy.•Develop and manage effective digital marketing campaigns.•Drive an effective social media strategy.•Manage www.wildlands.ie and its digital partners (including the property management and booking system for adventure and accommodation bookings), ensure the website performance meets revenue goals and drives conversions.•Create and develop marketing collateral and content (including videos) for the Channels.•Develop a distinctive identity of the brand and ensure a consistent brand message, is delivered by the entire team.•Analyse competitor activity, compete and gain market share.Key Skills & Experience:•Self-motivated individual with a “can do” attitude and a determination to succeed.•Previous sales, marketing management and strategic experience.•Proven track record in achieving sales, profit and conversion targets.•Proven track record in of independently generating new business.•Aptitude for numbers.•Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.•Project management skills - ability to handle time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines.•Ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry and / or adventure industry.•Ideal candidate will have experience in driving a brand launch and brand awareness for a new business.•Excellent digital marketing skills with strong PPC and search engine optimisation experience.•Excellent Word and Power Point skills and strong knowledge of HTML/JavaScript.•Enthusiastic team player with excellent inter-personal skills.Benefits:Company events

Marketing Assistant / Content Creator (Part Time)
The Role:
We’re on the lookout for a Marketing Assistant / Content Creator (part-time) to join our team at Wildlands Galway. This part-time role will offer current students / recent graduates an opportunity to grow their skillset and gain experience in a busy and exciting adventure, food & beverage and hospitality park setting.
In this role, you will support the Marketing Team on the development of our marketing strategy and planning, social media strategy and content creation and more.
Report to:
The Marketing Manager.
Start Date:
August 2022.
What we are looking for:
Available to commence on a part-time basis with an immediate start.
Pursuing a third level undergrad or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business or Event Management.
Good communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work with the marketing team to support the planning and set up of marketing campaigns and events.
Produce reports to analyse the performance of web and social campaigns.

Assistant Manager - Adventure / Adventure Duty Manager
The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced outdoor instructor with supervisory and/or management experience ready for the next step in their career to join our team at Wildlands Galway. This is a full-time role giving the right candidate an opportunity to grow their skillset and gain experience in a busy and exciting adventure, food & beverage and hospitality park setting.
In this role, you will support the adventure team and manage the business of the adventure department, typically between the hours of 8.30 am and 9.30pm during the park opening days (which includes weekends and school holidays).

Operations Manager – Adventure.
Start Date:
August 2022.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all activities are delivered in a safe, fun and timely way according to the roistered programme.
Manage daily operations efficiently - logistics of arrivals and departures, transport considerations, assembly points for groups, pre- prepared contingency plans, meals etc.
Ensure all groups are greeted on arrival at the centre and ensure they are given the highest standards of service and delivery.
Assess ill or injured persons from any area of the resort and oversee all first aid situations and medical emergencies that may occur.
Evacuate buildings in the event of an alarm sounding or the occurrence of a fire.
Promote a safety culture.
Always ensure high standard of supervision and group control by instructors and ensure daily checks of premises / equipment as applicable for site safety checks.
Support site managers and Adventure staff, (land, water and indoor) and ensure they have the necessary equipment and resources to do their jobs efficiently.
Liaise with teachers, parents, and group leaders where necessary as well as other members of the greater Wildlands team.
Hold regular meetings with instructors.
Liaise with Adventure staff to ensure the security and provision of equipment necessary to run the day’s activities.
Ensure there is a written record of all incidents or accidents and report to centre manager.
Prevent the spread and outbreak of infectious diseases by adhering to protocols in the event of suspected Covid-19, swine flu, or winter vomiting cases.
Promote environmental awareness and ensure that all arriving groups are given information on our environmental policies during introductory talk. Encourage instructors to be conscientious in promoting our green policies
Deal with complaints/ get feedback from all customers (Questionnaires).
Contribute positively to the public profile of the company in your presentation (wearing appropriate uniform) and friendly approachable demeanour.
