Kayaking along the shores of Ballyquirke Lough, you’ll learn new skills and techniques whilst safely supervised by our qualified instructors.
We have two session types to pick from. Choose our 2 hour games and skill based session or our longer games and touring 3 hour session. Both perfect for beginners or more advanced paddlers as full instruction is provided.
Our kayaks are double seated to enable family members or friends to paddle together on the lake, through canals and quiet bays, taking in the abundant nature that surrounds. Kayaks can be booked for 2 x 14 years + or 1 x 14 years + and 1 x 8-13 year old.
Depending on your group’s experience and desire for adventure, our instructors can set team challenges and fun games as you navigate the shoreline and weave through the lake's canal systems.
Ballyquirke Lough is surrounded by woodlands and reedbeds, so there are plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife as you explore. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife including birds, otters, mink, stoat, frogs, bats and more!
