Orienteering

With all of the surrounding lush, wild woodlands to explore, our Orienteering course is the ideal activity to equip you with the knowledge and capabilities to do so. Using the maps provided, you will learn basic orienteering skills such as how to read and understand a map so that you will never get lost again. Thumbing the map is a technique to keep track of where you are and the direction you’re heading in. With this know-how you can fully enjoy your surroundings, taking in the earth, the towering trees and rich wildlife without having to keep your nose buried in the map. It’s all down to preparation.

Please note this is a self-led activity without formal instructional supervision.

Complimentary for a ticket holder of a Wildlands activity (and their parents/guardian).
