Experience great heights

Zip ‘n’ Trek

Our most popular activity is the Zip 'n' Trek Course. The course soars 15 metres above the ground and stretches for over one kilometre, making it one of the most impressive in Ireland. Are you daring enough to try it? With four circuits of varying heights and levels of difficulty, we have options to suit everyone, from the adrenaline junkies to those who want to take a leisurely stroll through the treetops.

The longest zip line extends to almost 100 metres, offering an exhilarating sky ride through the woods, giving you spectacular views of Ballyquirke Lake along the way. There are over 40 rope, bridge and swing obstacles in total, with 10 zip lines and dual zip lines where you can double up for this unparalleled experience.

To keep the fun going, head for the three-tier, 16-metre high tower standing proud in the heart of the course. Challenging you to even more aerial trekking activities with a 15-metre Tarzan Swing, a 13-metre “freefall” and climbing walls… everything you need to appease your inner thrill-seeker and get your pulse pumping.

Please ensure to read 'Adventure Overview' minimum requirements below e.g. min height 4ft 6" (typically 12 years +) and an u13 participant requires an adult to go on course (ticket required) and an adult can supervise a max of 4 x U13s on course.

Express is a 2 circuit experience (up to 1.5 hours) and does not include the climbing walls on tower, the tarzan jump and the 'skyfall' free fall from tower.

We highly recommend that you wear gloves on the course. These can be purchased at our reception, or you can bring your own.

Practical Information

Our trained and experienced instructors will be on hand to support your course experience. Safety and enjoyment are paramount and our fully trained, experienced instructors will deliver an introductory safety brief to every group and individual. During the briefing, you will be securely harnessed and learn how to use a continuous belay system. This system is the safest on the market for rope activities, and it ensures that once underway, you are always connected to the safety line, it is impossible to disconnect without the express assistance of our course operators. The four Independent course circuits are colour coded for varying levels of difficulty, with clear information panels. With these you can decide how much or how little you wish to challenge yourself. They will also help guide you and build your confidence as you travel around the course.
Clothing: we recommend you dress appropriately for the weather, with flat closed shoes, comfortable clothes and your hair tied back. No personal items, including jewellery, allowed on the course. Gloves are required.
Age under 13: minimum 1 adult (aged 18+) must go on the course (i.e. ticket required) to supervise. An adult can supervise a max of 4 x u13 children on course.

Age 13 - 15: minimum 1 adult (aged 18+) per 8 children, ground supervision (no ticket required).

Age 16 & 17: supervise self but not others.
